South Africa’s Tour of Bangladesh Begins from July 5, 2015

Tigers mission against South Africa begins from July 5 where they will play two T20s, three ODIs and two Tests. South Africa’s Tour of Bangladesh will begin from July 5 and continue to August 3, 2015. Series against Proteas will be harder for Bangladesh than the last two series. Tigers need to keep up its good form which they have been showing since the WC2015 to last two series against Pakistan and India.

Bangladesh Win Historic ODI Series against India

Bangladesh for the first time win historic ODI series against India. They win the back to back two matches from the 3-match ODI series against India respectively on June 18 and 21, 2015 at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Dhaka. Winning historic ODI series against India, Tigers have deposited another remarkable record in their basket and also made history in world cricket. Bangladesh’s new invention Mustafizur Rahman has inflamed Bangladesh to beat India and win historic ODI series.

BB Governor Atiur Rahman Elected as Asian Clearing Union Chairman

Bangladesh Bank (BB) Governor, Dr. Atiur Rahman elected as the Chairman of Asian Clearing Union (ACU) for one year in the 44th board meeting of ACU held in Dhaka. He took the charge from Valiollah Seif, Iran’s Governor of Central Bank. ACU was established in 1974, as a clearing union of nine member countries, to regional cooperation of financial transactions among the member countries.

Tk 2,95,100cr Budget of Bangladesh Government for FY 2015-16

The Awami League lead government placed the biggest budget, in history of Bangladesh, on June 4, 2015 to the turn of Tk 2,95,100 crore for 2015-16 FY. No doubt that this is a tax-heavy budget which targets revenue 2,08,443 crore. The budget has an overall deficit 86,657 crore. And GDP growth target 7 percent next year. It is presuming that financing for 2015-16 fiscal budget will be the most challenging for the government in addition to challenging of violence, bureaucracy, and non-investment.

HSC (College) Level Admission Starting from 6 June 2015

This year 87.04 percent students have passed in SSC and equivalent examinations in Bangladesh. Total 1,11,901 students got the highest Grade Point Average (GPA-5). Now admission worry is going on among the students, which is going to starting from 6 June 2015. And the admission process for all colleges under ten education boards will be done through online and SMS from Teletalk SIM.

New Pay Scale for Government Employees Implementing from July

The new pay scale for government employees is going to implementing from July which fixes the highest basic salary Tk 75,000 and the lowest Tk 8,250. The whole pay scale will put into effect in two phases. It is presumed that after being implemented of the new pay scale, once again, inflation may grip the market which may push the private sector employees and common people into trouble.

Thousands Vulnerable Migrants and Asylum Seekers Stranded at Sea

Thousands of Bangladeshi poor and Myanmar’s Rohingya migrants now stranded at sea in a hopeless situation with life-risk matter. They are victim of human trafficking. Among the migrants, many were killed, and died from insufficiency of foods, pure water, etc. The human traffickers target vulnerable people of the country. Proper awareness and Government’s strict steps must require abolishing human trafficking, traffickers and its gangs from the country.

Free Internet Service in Bangladesh with

Jahidul Alam, a non-profit initiative of Facebook, is providing free internet access service in Bangladesh. The initiative is providing facilities to the users to freely access a number of sites including Facebook and Wikipedia. Currently, the service is available for Robi users (those who have Robi SIM) only.

Professor Abdul Mannan the New Chairman of UGC of Bangladesh

Prof. Abdul Mannan, the former Vice Chancellor of Chittagong University, is appointed as the new chairman of UGC of Bangladesh. Earlier he served in the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh. Prof. Mannan is the 12th chairman of UGC, Bangladesh.

India’s Tour of Bangladesh Set up in June 2015

India’s tour of Bangladesh has scheduled in June 2015. India will play one test and three ODIs against Bangladesh. Though India are strong opposition in cricket, Bangladesh’s current wonderful performance may dish up a competitive series. Tigers will have to show up outstanding performance, which they have been showing since ICC WC’15, to offer a competitive series against India.
