Bangladesh and Australia Test Series scheduled to begin from October 9, 2015. Aussies will play two-match test series against Tigers. The first test between Bangladesh and Australia will be held from Oct 9 to Oct 13 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chittagong; and the second test from Oct 17 to Oct 21 at Shere-e-Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur, Dhaka.

Bangladesh Bank (BB) Governor, Dr. Atiur Rahman elected as the Chairman of Asian Clearing Union (ACU) for one year in the 44th board meeting of ACU held in Dhaka. He took the charge from Valiollah Seif, Iran’s Governor of Central Bank. ACU was established in 1974, as a clearing union of nine member countries, to regional cooperation of financial transactions among the member countries.
The Awami League lead government placed the biggest budget, in history of Bangladesh, on June 4, 2015 to the turn of Tk 2,95,100 crore for 2015-16 FY. No doubt that this is a tax-heavy budget which targets revenue 2,08,443 crore. The budget has an overall deficit 86,657 crore. And GDP growth target 7 percent next year. It is presuming that financing for 2015-16 fiscal budget will be the most challenging for the government in addition to challenging of violence, bureaucracy, and non-investment.

The new pay scale for government employees is going to implementing from July which fixes the highest basic salary Tk 75,000 and the lowest Tk 8,250.
